The summer is particularly beautiful here. The mild, sunny climate invites you to go hiking, walking, climbing, cycling and mountain biking. There can be found countless hiking opportunities in the area of Laion/Lajen, Val Gardena/Gröden, Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Val di Funes/Villnösstal and the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal. Those who are looking for action and fun will find an unforgettable winter amusement on the snow-reliable slopes of the world's largest ski circuit with 1200 km of slopes, the ski resort Dolomiti Superski - only 15 minutes away by car from Laion Ried Appartements Riegelehof and also reachable by skibus. Take advantage of the convenient and affordable bus service, the bus takes you from the doorstep directly to the ski area. The famous "Sellaronda" leads skiers and snowboarders over four Dolomite passes around the Sella, where the impressive Dolomite peaks are always in sight. Stop off at the numerous traditional mountain refuges. Whether beginners or world champions: there are well-maintained runs for every level. Highlights are the two FIS Ski World Cup races held every year in December on the Saslong slope in Val Gardena.…
